Keeping our team connected to the clients we serve is the top priority for Melinda in her role with Myers Capital Advisors. In addition to daily operations and handling customer questions, Melinda schedules meetings for clients, processes their applications and forms, and prepares for review meetings. She also follows up with carriers on new accounts and forms and prepares cases and reports for clients and advisors.
Melinda brings 15+ years of experience in the financial industry, working with firms that focused on retirement planning, wealth management, life insurance, long-term care, 401(k) plans and school employee pension plans. She is driven in her work by knowing that preparation can potentially make a difference in someone’s retirement planning.
Melinda was raised on a Pennsylvania livestock and crop farm and grew up as an active member of 4-H, winning local, state and national sewing competitions. She went on to earn degrees at Lasell College in Newton, Massachusetts, where she studied fashion design and production, and fashion merchandising. She now lives on a 13-acre, 19th-century homestead in the Wooster area with her husband, Mike. She has five children, two dogs and two cats. In her spare time, Melinda enjoys bonfires, tractor pulling, farming, trail riding and playing cards.
